HealthCare.gov is the market place for individuals who qualify for a premium tax credit. Here, individuals can learn if they qualify for federal tax credits. Federal tax credits can significantly lower the costs of insurance premium.

Small Business Options Program (SHOP)

SHOP - in Oregon small business can't buy coverage via HealthCare.gov SHOP program. Small business have to purchase  a qualified plan through one of Oregon's insurance carriers. Federal tax credits are available at the SHOP for qualifying taxable and tax-exempt organizations to help cover the cost of coverage for employees. For those organizations that have received the credit in the past they will need to purchase their insurance from the SHOP to continue to receive the credit.
